Hidden mill cannot accept responsibility for any damages which occur in transit when customers arrange their own transport.
Hidden Mill endeavour to deliver all furniture within 4 to 6 weeks. We will wherever possible advise you of any anticipated additional delay when you place your order. Once your furniture order is ready for delivery, you will be contacted and given a delivery date. If you cannot be available for delivery, you can ask for it to be delayed until the next available date our team are in your area. Unfortunately, you cannot select a specific date. We appreciate that most people work during the week and it is sometimes difficult to arrange delivery dates and times that suit. Therefore we are happy for your friends or neighbours to accept delivery and then sign for the goods on your behalf. Just be sure to tell them to check the goods before signing. Please note that we will always aim to complete your order and deliver all items together in a single delivery. Part-shipments are also available upon request (at an additional cost).
Please check access for the furniture/items you are ordering, as it is entirely your responsibility to ascertain that access is possible. We do NOT assemble or install furniture on delivery. You MUST inform us of any access restrictions prior to delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to check measurements to all access areas (stairs, doorways, etc.) and inform us of any access or parking restrictions and any circumstances which may prevent a successful delivery.
If our delivery personnel judge that an item may not fit into or through the designated access space or that they may incur physical injury or risk damage to the item or your property, then we reserve the right to leave the item in a safe and convenient alternative location. Health and Safety regulations and insurance dictates that out delivery team is not obliged to take furniture other than to your door.
It is your responsibility to check and ensure that you are entirely happy with your purchase, prior to signing the delivery note and before the delivery team leave your premises. Your signature on the delivery note constitutes acceptance of the items. Any damage or defect must be noted on the delivery paperwork when the goods are accepted. Please note that no goods are to be returned without contacting us first (preferably via telephone) and then confirming this request in writing. We cannot be held responsible for information which has not been noted on this paperwork. Where a delivery date has been agreed but the customer is not present or unwilling to receive the delivery a charge will be applied for redelivery.

Once an order has been confirmed and is in production it cannot be cancelled. In order to meet your expectations we do our best to provide full details and photographs on our website, provide samples and are always available for advice. All our furniture is made from solid mahogany and is hand carved so please allow for slight variations in wood colour, size, and carving detail. Industry standards allow size variations of up to 2cm (larger or smaller) with handmade items. We ask our customers to consider this when carrying out their measurements and/or considering whether to purchase an item. We will not refund furniture simply because it does not match, suit or fit or because it is found to be unsuitable to the position for which the customer envisaged. We ask all our customers to check their measurements and access points very carefully to avoid disappointment. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the original delivery charge or the return postage unless the item(s) are faulty, in which case we will fully reimburse.

Hidden Mill uses only the highest quality mahogany, sourced from sustainable and renewable forests.
